Agnirakshak was started as a Proprietary firm in 2000 by the husband-wife duo Mr.Praful Birje and Mrs.Padma Birje after spending over 30 man-years each in the Fire Fighting Industry. From being a consulting firm doing small design & engineering activities to a Private limited company in 2016, ARPL has evolved into a wiser, advanced and an experienced company. With pride and confidence, ARPL’s Founders are now passing on the reins to the next generation, as their son carries forward the legacy with renewed vision and commitment.

In 2025, ARPL has ventured into the manufacturing field by manufacturing a product known as ‘Explosion Relief Valve Assembly (ERVA)’ which is a mandatory requirement of Fire Water Spray System for Fixed Roof Tanks in the refineries and Chemical industries. ARPL is one of the very few companies in India which manufacturers this ERVA and its Directors have applied for a patent for this product.

Today, ARPL management has more than 150 man-years of experience who are ably assisted by a team of Designers, Engineers, Service Executives, etc. well equipped with the required Hardwares and softwares.
